Just as with a file manager and many apps or sites, it would be helpful to see covers in another view besides cover view. Just as one doesn't always use some icon view in a file manager when one wants to see metadata details, same for books. Often I want to see details yet at the same time a cover for each. Imagine such list views in a file manager or app to sort photos, much more difficult to use without an image. E.g., if I have 10+ copies each of a widely translated work such as The Iliad or The Mahabharata, seeing creators publisher cover etc greatly helps sorting though multiple editions.
