After you've restored and made any corrections, check that everything seems to be OK. If it is OK, you are done and the NAS can be used to keep your library backed up.

If it's not OK, go back to the library on the NAS and create a new library based on the structure of the existing library and then import all the eBook from the NAS and go from there.
