Seems bad value as it's low resolution and can only render old Mobi. The older Kindle Keyboard takes later Firmware, so can do KF8. The DXG was a DX with simply a later screen tech, so not enough RAM. Also a slow CPU for PDFs. The Kobo 6.8" H2O and 7" libra do same size PDFs better.
It's only of value if you want larger than normal size text and you have bright ambient lighting. Also most HTTPS sites don't work on the experimental browser
