Just a comment ago, I upgraded my Kobo Forma to 4.24.15676 with patches, after that I tried to connect my Kobo Forma with Calibre, it says something like the database got corrupted again, I have to restore the db file.
And I tried to upgrade the Calibre to 5.0.1, it failed to upgrade, stopped and started to rollback.
The database-corrupted happened multiple times in recent months, rollback happened twice.
I didn't change my OS, I didn't change Calibre, is there any solution I can use to fix these issues for good?
UPDATE:
Last time, I uninstalled old Calibre, and installed the new Calibre msi file, it was successfully installed, this time, I uninstalled the old Calibre, and try to install the new msi file, it rollbacked at the end, I reboot my PC, and install it again, it rollback again, do I have to delete the Calibre local config too? No log or any hints about what is going wrong? I really don't want to delete my local Calibre configs.
UPDATE2:
After googling (
https://www.reddit.com/r/Calibre/com...2_bit_calibre/), it seems I have to exit PowerToys, and it works, don't why PowerToys affects it, and Calibre better provides logs when it failed to install.
