If you have an epub that was previously downloaded with FFF, you can select it and choose the 'Update Existing FanFiction Books' option. FFF should find the storyURL inside the epub.

If that doesn't work, there's also an FFF option on the Basic settings tab 'Search inside ebooks for Story URL?' that will search inside epubs, text and html ebooks for valid story URLs when you do 'Update Existing FanFiction Books'.

If neither of those work, you probably will have to download the entire text again anyway, but you could try manually adding the story URL as an identifier:url.

Last resort, you can download in FFF and then merge with your old book entry or copy the ebook format manually into your old book entry.
