sorry if i was not clear. My old PSP charger plugs into an outlet not the computer. I was under the impression that the one they sell you in sony for the PRS is the same as the PSP, so I thought "heck why not". The USB cable it ceom with for the computer severs its purpose of syncing it perfectly.
