Sorry if this is the wrong place for it, but I couldn't find another subforum that worked.

I was scrolling through aliexpress today and found this: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/4000485692554.html

The BK3404 4.3 inch OED ereader.

There are multiple sellers with it for sale averaging between $45 and $60. It supposedly runs linux, has 512MB RAM, and 4 or 8GB of storage. There's only one substantial review with pictures on the site and it says it's super slow and has a poor russian translation for the menu. Also, the battery is horrendous apparently.

Has anyone gotten their hands on one to see what it's actually like? It seems like it might be a good pocketable device for reading on the go and I wouldn't feel bad if it accidentally was scratched.

Maybe some software patches could be made to increase the screen refresh speed, overclock the CPU or something.
