@droopy - I suggest you create four columns

#bc_has/BC Has Is title part of the library's catalog? (Yes or No)
#bc-status/BC Status What's the status of the title (in, checked out, on hold)
#bc-avail/BC Available If "in", is it available in my preferred branch?
#bc-when/BC When If title is checked out, when is the estimated day of return (after all holds are done)?

And fill them in manually, into the Metadate Edit form or into the book list.

Once that's done, you could post a request in the Plugin ideas sticky at the top of the plugins subforum. But don't get you hopes up, almost all plugins are developed by people who need them, this is especially true of Metadata Download plugins.

Added - you will need those four columns for a plugin, and it may require a GUI plugin a'la the Overdrive Synch PI.
