If it's just a front light, and cpu/bluetooth bump I won't regret buying my Max 3 in the recent sale. I prefer using external lights anyway.
Real improvements for me would be:
- Higher PPI screen
- Physical page turn buttons (I use a bluetooth remote, but sometimes on-device is more convenient)
- Lighter
