I'm just hoping that the new firmware update will roll off for the Inkpad X this coming September, from what I've been hearing. Although, now that almost one year has gone by since the Inkpad X was introduced, perhaps there might be a newer model in the works...

However, if that firmware update solves the slowness, then I plan to buy.
