Hi!
My PW1 was stuck in a boot loop after uploading some books with calibre so I did a factory reset. It restarted after 30 seconds - so factory reset was the only idea.

Now: I did the jailbreak, it has the firmware 5.3.4. To get it fully usable I have to register it with Amazon, but this does not work - I think it is because of the old firmware.

I read the forum for hours but I did not understand what to do. Shall I upgrade the firmware? Will I keep the jailbreak? Or is there any other way to register my old PW1?
