There are four rendering modes available. Full-refresh for every page, to full A2 mode, which is no-refresh and designed for videos. You can assign the app to the navball that allows you to alter the rendering mode while you are reading. You can also assign the screen-refresh to the navball so you can refresh anytime. You have to play around with it to find the settings that you prefer. There are a lot of settings. FWIW I haven't noticed much difference in ghosting between color and B/W. I think mine is set to full refresh when I change pages.
