My new job offer is still pending a background check and drug test which I have scheduled for next week. Unless jury duty interferes again.
They warned me not to give notice at my current job until that's done. I figure around the 21st I'll give formal notice and start the new job around the 5th. Even if there's a slight gap, my current job owes me over 200 hours of vacation time which they have to pay out if I give 14 days notice and work out my time.
So, kitty will be getting double paid for a good month. I may buy a new ereader to celebrate!
