I live in a small town and I’m a couple of states away, but Wallingford is the last stop before my stuff is local. Once my stuff gets to Wallingford, presumably it gets mired in the backlog, so no scanning is going on. It’s days of delay after the putative delivery date and no notice when the stuff finally leaves the facility. But now that I know, it’s not a major issue - except that you can be sure I’ll vote early and turn in my ballot at the town hall, to boot.

Amazon can’t be any better than its carriers. I have no issue with the Prime truck, but the USPS stuff gets stuck. We know why.
I have no issue with my local mailpersons.
