I'm trying to fix a Kindle 4 Touch model (D01200). It was having an issue where the touchscreen was not responsive, except when pressing a few buttons (home, special offers) which would turn black then nothing else would happen (special offers would load into a new page but no internet).

I reset it using the Kubrick tool and it's now stuck on the language selection screen. I can press any of the languages and they flash black, then nothing happens. The touchscreen worked in the diagnostic mode to get through the menus for Kubrick, so it's clearly not that. I thought that the fresh install would fix whatever issue this is, but no dice!

I'm all out of ideas, would appreciate any suggestions! Thanks.
