This Statement is Not TRUE MG : Then there’s the oddity of your claim (see other post) that the books weren’t on the Forma at first. Even though it’s quite impossible for this to be the case if you are right that you did not sideload them. Literally the first thing that would happen upon (even faking) the registration is an import of the books on the device.
I have Often tried to DL ebooks that Dont show up for Weeks Later. As I can Only DL when I near Wifi. At different points I was doing just that when my electric would go down or my cable. Several of those times it was Weeks before they get to my device. To try to redownload them was impossible.
I saying that the OP got a Used Device that was Not taken back to Factory & when it was turned on & close to a Wifi it Then DL the ebooks.
OP have you recieved the New device from Kobo yet? Have you sent this used one back? Just wondering
