FWIW, my setup over is at least *two* cables plugged into the back, and looped around/resting on top of the UPS next to to the case when unused.
(If it weren't for the UPS, they'd probably be looped around one of the desk's feet instead or something).
Just have to grab 'em from under the desk as needed, something I can generally do blind by now
