i would assume that you chose celibacy (and correct me if I'm wrong) based on experience, personal needs and without any undue pressure from an outside group. In that case your decision is completely understandable, rational even if you take a look at the statistics on the longevity of modern relationships. The kids in these 'purity' cults are pressured and told lies and aren't really making a choice. They're denying a natural urge because they want to 'belong' or have been made afraid of what might happen if they 'sin'. That's what annoys me the most. Its the lies and the fear put on these kids by meddling adults. I'm just glad this nonsense hasn't spread too far into Europe.
