It was about as big as a breadbox, required 8 or 10 “D” size batteries that would drain and die after about 2 hours of ON time (if that). It had scratchy monaural single speaker sound that would fade in and out depending on which direction you were standing, and the MOST you could ever HOPE for was to tune in 1 of the 2 stations possible on the monster.
