I'll have more, but off the top of my head:
  • the Wayside School books
  • the Sammy Keyes books (she's an amateur sleuth)
  • Time Warp Trio

It sounds as if she doesn't like "serious" books, which lets out Narnia, Betsy-Tacy, Little House?
