I was wondering: if you use the HIDDEN HTML attribute for li or ol inside the navigation html document, do Kindle reading systems support it?

I'm guessing that e-ink kindles don't support HIDDEN in the navigation document. Does anyone know of a fallback technique to prevent individual TOC items from being displayed on e-inks?

Thanks.
I would tread carefully with hiding TOC items. KDP can be rather pissy about it, fwiw.
