Best eInk device for Moon+ Reader?

Currently, most of my reading is split between my KO3 and Galaxy S9 phone using the Moon+ Reader app. Although the Kindle is a terrific piece of hardware, I really enjoy the features on Moon+ Reader. Scrolling, pages/% left in chapter, and Calibre support are some of the features I wish existed on the Kindle.

I’ve seen some rave reviews for the Onyx Boox Poke 2 recently and that got me thinking, could an Android based eInk device with Moon+ Reader installed give me the best of both worlds? Seems A2 or X mode would be fast enough to support scrolling instead of page turns with minimal ghosting.

Does anyone have experience using Moon+ Reader or a similar app on an eInk device? Is it worth selling my Kindle to buy an Onyx device or should I stay put? FYI, I’m not locked into Amazon’s ecosystem and convert all my books through Calibre. I’m using Kindle purely for the hardware.

Thanks.
