There are other options, however, to make a .PDF more readable on your Sony. I almost never use calibre. Instead, I use some combination of these tools:
PDFLRF
Rasterfarian
PDFread
SoPDF
PaperCrop
Mainly PDFLRF for PDFs that begin image based (e.g., from a scan) or SoPDF for PDFs that begin as text-based. |
None will work on PDF that is infected with DRM.
