It *could* *possibly* be done, by checking the system log to see what action is initiated when you press the 'Home' button. Then maybe by comparing that to other page turn buttons devices, then changing a config file (hopefully) or doing a hard work of reverse engineering to change the code, OR succeed in finding the machine code in the binary that lets you change this.
TL;DR It's probably going to be hard
