I've noticed a bunch of new "Alexa" glitches the past week or so. I guess the morons at Amazon FW land have been messing with the FW again. I know that the last FW update to my Show 5 and one of my Dot 3s changed some option settings and turned on stuff I had kept off. That really pisses me off when a company changes my settings without telling me. The FW turned on communication capability to both of those devices, but I keep it turned off on all my Echo devices. It also turned on the bleeping Show Tips option on my Show 5. Very aggravating.

Lately it is also messing up Scenes for devices that belong to Groups. If I tell it to turn off Lamp, which is in a Group called Restroom with a Scene called Bath Light, it will turn off both the Lamp and the Bath Light. "Restroom ON/OFF" is supposed to turn both lights ON/OFF, and still does. "Lamp ON/OFF" should only affect the Lamp, and "Bath Light ON/OFF" should only affect the Bath Light. Amazon has never gotten Scenes and Groups to work well.
