Calibre asks your devices Database for What it has.
Your devices database is corrupt, so Calibre choked and thus the error message
Code:
CorruptError: CorruptError: database disk image is malformed
You need to do what it takes to get your device (model) to rebuild its database.

Some, you have to do a full reset (wipes out everything on it). If it was synced to 'the cloud', it may re download once you sighn it back to your account. I believe a Kobo does this (I keep mine off-line, so mine would be a NO-GO at the restore part. but the DB would be corrected, but empty)
