I bought my Kindle thinking that I could place all my work pdf and doc files on my kindle, so that I could have them all in one simple place, for meetings and such. Forget that! I have to send proprietary information to Amazon to convert to azw and send back to me???? I don't think so!!!! And them Amazon claims ownership of my company files? I would be fired in 2 seconds if any employee discovered this stuff on my Kindle.
Amazon needs to get over itself and let us place PDF's and docs directly on the Kindle we paid for! I wouldn't mind buying their books in that case, but I am reluctant to support them while they have this attitude. Yes, I have bought 3 paid books since my Kindle arrived, but that number might be higher if they would get rid of some of the idiotic concepts about ownership of private files.
