Hi folks,

When I add a book that is downloaded from Amazon as an azw file, I would have expected it to end up in Calibre as an azw3 format book, however it actually appears as a mobi one instead.

In preferences my preferred output format is AZW3 and the order in the "Preferred input format order:" box is EPUB, AZW3, MOBI.

Is an azw file actually AZW3 format?
Is there a way to get it to import as AZW3?
