the fact you disagree with what i said means that you (one person) believe i'm wrong. in my experience on this forum it's generally only those who disagree with me that comment. that doesn't mean for a (fact) that i'm in the minority.

You said you’d make the case that people who were not lamenting a feature removal were probably not using it. As you didn’t feel the need to back this case you were making one is free to conclude you were so confident in your claim that you didn’t feel examples to support your case were needed. Which would satisfy the strong manner aspect for forcefully. And thus you asserted a view.
