One sector that’s looking to have active development looks to be the PDF viewer/markup one, where there are a couple of 13.3” devices based on the Sony that I’ve noticed recently, albeit at the 700 to 800 USD range...

This is separate from the Remarkable 2 in the notebook-replacement sector, which should be shipping shortly.
