But as I asked earlier, how useful is 'go to page xxx' in one of those omnibus books? I'd still think you're better off using the table of contents. It's not like you can say "Great Expectations starts on page 3,527, and if I want to go to chapter two, I need page 3,549." Just use the table of contents.

And the table of contents is now indented, making it more useful in one of those omnibi.

I can empathize, but since moving on from the old firmware, my Kobo is faster and more stable than it used to be. That's been the case for a while, which is why when I lost the tiles, I shed a few tears, but never moved back. Searching collections used to freeze the reader for half a minute. Now? No lag at all.

And collections and series have their own separate tabs, which is much better than the old way.
fair play to you. searching collections is extremely slow on my original Aura running 3.16.0, but i get around that quite easily by having the one's i use the most on the old tiled home screen.

ultimately it depends which features we as users value the most. i have the latest firmware on my touch an will continue to update it as and when a new version is released.

you may have noticed i'm rarely quiet about the changes i don't like/desire, that being said one of the main things i do like that Kobo do very well is make it relatively easy with a little bit of care and attention to manually upgrade/downgrade the firmware.

best wishes koboy
