I think you mean the slider bar that pops up, not the table of contents. On the slider bar, it shows pages for the whole book.
But again, with the header and footer information, the pages on the slider bar don't matter. If I were reading one of those massive Delphi collections, I would be more likely to use the table of contents to jump to a book than the slider. And at that point, I'm not sure page number matters anyway, does it?

the slider bar in the table of contents is exactly what i meant. does it matter? in a way yes especially when it's always been like that in my experience, obviously it's subjective/each to their own.
personally the go to page number being taken away in favour of the scrollbar
matters to me the most, why? because it's always worked that way for me over the last 5 years.
trying to warm to the latest firmware isn't made easy when features/option i'm use to disappear.
