The microwave's magnetron died with less than a month left on it's warranty. They replaced it at no charge and it is still going strong. Magnetrons used to have a 10 year warranty. I don't know if the news one do.
I rebuilt the engine in the Nova when it hit 130,000 miles. If you preform the needed maintenance when required a car can be drivable hundred of thousands of miles. The only problem I have with the S10 is finding some parts that were not made in abundance by the manufacturer and aren't worth someone else making them.
