Table of contents for me only says what page it is on
in the table of contents (my current book is long. the table of contents alone is four pages).
With the header and footer having that information available, I don't need page numbers in the table of contents.
I think you mean the slider bar that pops up, not the table of contents. On the slider bar, it shows pages for the whole book.
But again, with the header and footer information, the pages on the slider bar don't matter. If I were reading one of those massive Delphi collections, I would be more likely to use the table of contents to jump to a book than the slider. And at that point, I'm not sure page number matters anyway, does it?
