Wi-Fi connection
My Kobo Libra H2O automatically updated to FW 4.23.15505 (6da428b202, 8/10/20) yesterday. Automatic sync was not checked, but the FW updated anyway.
I reinstalled the One-Click Install Package for KOReader (OCP-KOReader-v2020.08.zip from the first post in this thread). I used the script with Powershell.
All went well, however, I now cannot connect Wi-Fi connection in KOReader.
I have "Restore Wi-Fi connection on resume" checked.
I also have "Action when Wi-Fi is off: turn on" selected.
"Wi-Fi connection" does not have a checkmark, so when I select it shows "Scanning for networks" then this message immediately pops up:
"Failed to initialize network control client: Failed to connect to wpa_supplicant control socket: /var/run/wpa_supplicant/eth0."
Wi-Fi is enabled in Kobo reader.
When I reboot the device and through NickelMenu select KOReader, KOReader opens, Wi-Fi connection IS checked. However, when I close my cover to put the reader to sleep, then open it again to wake up, the W-Fi connection is no longer checked. Then when I select it again, the above Failed to initialize network control client message appears.
Same behavior when I "Restart KOReader".
I use the calibre wireless connection to send my books to the Libra. And I use Progress sync with my Libra and my phone.
Please let me know if I can provide any more information. I really appreciate your help! Thank you.
