I've been indulging myself the last few days. I hadn't been buying new tea during the lockdowns and started worrying that I might run out of good tea before things went back to normal. I started drinking the tea that isn't bad enough to throw out, but isn't exactly the stuff I get wistful about, either and managed to go through several boxes of things like Twinings that I'd bought "just to try." I was rearranging my slightly emptier shelves and drawers and found some unopened packages of tea in the back. I was on a kick for a while of trying Ceylon blends from the Middle East and I remember buying a few "spare" packages of ones I particularly liked, but I guess I liked more of them than I thought. Since sizes like 250g and 350g are common in some of the imported brands, I dug out almost four pounds of sealed, unopened tea.

I decided I could have a little more of the good stuff once in a while and still not face running out before the vaccines arrive.
