Hi, I'm a new member, although I must admit I've been a lurker on the forum since I bought my first Kindle e-reader about 18 months ago. I've found the mobilereads forum very useful/helpful when I've had any issues using my Kindle. I decided to join the forum today because I wanted to share some info for Kindle owners with regards to the “disappearing book covers” issue with side loaded books that first started cropping up a couple of months ago. I've posted my info in the Kindle section.

Although I've only owned a Kindle e-reader for 18 months I've been reading e-books for good few years before that, mainly using a B&N "Nook HD" tablet. I basically picked up a used Kindle 4th Gen for a mere £10 back in Feb 2019 and very quickly became a convert from an LCD screen to E-ink!

Looking forward to continuing to find help/info on the forum and maybe contributing the odd bit of info myself.
