Trouble with Viewer

I am using Windows 10 and Calibre v4.19 64bit....recently upgraded to this. Started having trouble with getting Viewer to open...initially it was hit and miss as to when it would work and when it wouldnt. Then it started taking longer and longer to open. Now it wont open anything - neither double clicking on selected book or clicking on viewer icon works. Would appreciate any suggestions or information on how to fix this issue......
