But, but...books are displayed so beautifully on large screen devices! Firstly, there is the bookshelf where breathe in the covers if what to read nex requires some consideration. And then the way the pages are displayed when the tablet is held horizontally with columns and pages. Lastly the weight of a tablet is nothing compared to carrying multiple books. Especially when “weighed” against the benefits of a pencil for non fiction and other features available from the same device.

And I bet you carry things for her with that bag and would even let her borrow the tablet if you aren’t using it.

Sounds like a win all around.
