We'll have to see. So far, the Your Phone app runs SMS and a few other things.
But at one point, Microsoft (apart from Google) was working on basically an emulation layer that would run Android apps within Windows 10. Sort of like why DosBox does with old Windows games.
They called it
Project Astoria.
