I was one of the users who described the new layout as cluttered.

To me, the problem is not so much with the home screen (though I agree with others that the My Books preview is redundant now, and the screen would look better without the last line of text) but with the My Books screen - you have the clock/icon line on top, then below that the Books/Authors etc. tabs, below another line for the sorting options, five books and then the menu *plus* the scrolling bar on the right. It might look better on bigger screens but on 6-inch devices like my Glo HD it's a lot of stuff. I'm not saying it's not easier to access the menu now, or that the scroll bar isn't more convenient - I can appreciate that and still dislike the way it was put together.
