Today is the last day of eight days of tropical (over 30C degrees) temperatures. Normally I would say that 26-27C degrees is too warm, but I'm really looking forward to those temperatures the next couple of days.

During the night it was a couple of degrees cooler than predicted and there was a nice breeze blowing into the bedroom window, so I was able to sleep relatively well. In the those eight days I've only had one night I didn't sleep well due to the heat. That was because I had to close the windows because it was going to rain during the night.

Next week temperatures will drop to around 22C degrees, which is normal for this time of year. It looks like the night will stay warm, just below 20C degrees, for a while longer before dropping.

For later today thunderstorms were predicted, but it looks like the chance of that happening is lower. Though looking at the rain radar some showers are now developing in the south of the country.
