I checked using the Libby app on my phone, but my library card is still valid and I can borrow and return books.

When I looked into the Kobo eReader.conf file, I noticed that under the OverDrive section, there is a key called overdrive_account with value https://auth.overdrive.com/account, but clicking on this link leads me to a 404 error page.

Is this the reason why I cannot log in? If so, is there an updated authentication URL and is anyone else facing a similar issue?

Thank you in advance!

When I’ve run into Overdrive authorization or sync problems, and Libby is fine and logging into overdrive.com works as well, I find I have to log out of overdrive on my Kobo device, then relog back in. Yesterday, my daughter’s Clara would give her notifications of books on hold, but wouldn’t download any of them. I first logged out of Overdrive and logged back in, but that didn’t fix the problem. Repairing the Kobo account (settings>device info>Advanced>repair) didn’t fix the problem either. That left logging out of the Kobo device completely, which resets the device, then log everything back in again. *THAT* fixed the problem. If the Overdrive site isn’t having web problems (which I’ve run into this week with one of my libraries), one of those three solutions should set you right.
