I disagree. Ask the average user which is a better value: $30 for a DVD player that will only play Sony DVDs, or $30 for a DVD player that will play all manufacturer DVDs.
Their answer is obvious.
The issue with the average user is that they simply
don't know about the DRM issue and what it means to them. Once you put it in terms they understand, they don't want DRM.
