Something interesting just happened while I was testing the browser. I haven't reproduced, so keep in mind, this might be a PEBCKAC error of some kind.
To use the web browser, I turned on Wifi, (something that I almost never do on the kobo). After the quick reminder how god awful web browsing is on an e-ink device, I closed the browser, and Pressed "Home" tab. However, instead of my home screen, I was presented with a full page ad for Kobo Plus, with a single button to "get started with Kobo Plus". Had to press Home Button on bottom again to actually go to my home screen.. (very Dark Pattern behaviour.)
