I tried converting the EPUB to AZW3. Same problem occurs.

Even checking Margins and Padding does nothing.

The normal text

The only difference is apparently that normal text is C19 while the italic text is C16. Is there a way to convert C16 to C19 with Calibre?

I could also send you the file in some way if you think that would be helpful...
