I now see a Tea model (I don't know which model you have, but the one is what I own — a rebranded Touch Lux 3). Also, it appears (as mentioned in an earlier post) that Vivlio no longer supports ascm files (as you say). The manual mentions installing ADE on a Mac or PC for buying books at other bookstores. It looks like they're a closed system now, like Amazon, or Nook or Kobo (with the ability to side-load ePubs but not download them directly to the device). I would definitely buy a PocketBook instead if this is the case.
