Pretty much the only thing you'll actually notice affecting battery life is wifi. Everything else is various degrees of marginal. Doing a full screen refresh every page turn is distracting and unnecessary but it won't meaningfully affect your battery life.

But if the power draw between a partial refresh and a full refresh is negligible, it means it's all about the CPU/controller and not about actually magnetizing the ink particles, which I find at least a little bit surprising.
