Well, I started playing around and did find a workaround for the white background. I’m not sure if anyone else has had the issue, so I’ll go over it just in case.

1) Download the zip file for FanficFare and unzip it

2) Go to plugin-defaults file in the unzipped folder

3) Go to the background color section. It looks like this:

## output background color--used by html and epub output_css (and will
## only be used in CSS if included in output_css). Also used by image
## processing for remove_transparency. Value is expected to be a hex
## code color.
background_color: ffffff

4) Remove ffffff and save it

5) Compress folder into a zip file again. Make sure that you create the zip file by selecting all the contents of the main folder and not the folder itself. Zipping the folder won’t let you install it in Calibre.

6) Install in Calibre like normal


The test version of EpubMerge fixed the Title Page issue for me. Thank you for your help, and a great set of tools.
