To be fair, manga and comics aren't the same thing.

Manga (in tankōbon format anyway) are primarily black and white and fit nicely on a 6" screen (though I bet you'd find they look better on a Libra).

Western style comics or European BDs are much larger and primarily in color. A 6" e-ink screen just wouldn't work well for them. Even with color.

A 10" tablet is okay, but even there they feel squeezed. My Surface with 12.3" screen and 3:2 ratio is about perfect for comics (bit heavy though).
